Hunters might consider bringing a rifle of .270 caliber or larger using 140 grain bullets or heavier (NO
NOSLER BALLISTIC TIP BULLETS!). Rifles should be topped with high quality variable scopes and sighted "dead on" at 200 yards. High quality binoculars are necessary and powerful spotting scopes are helpful since many bucks are spotted over 1/2 mile away. Warm, quiet clothing, digital camera, video camera, scope covers, ice chest, hunting license, flashlight, along with a small daypack are recommended.
