I got some trail cam pictures by email. One of the animals is a bear looking creature. I have hunted for years in Texas and never saw or heard of such an animal. On the internet they show a Sloth Bear that could be what this is. Have you heard of or seen a Sloth Bear? It has a white vee on its chest, a white muzzle and black nose. A bob tail and stout thick legs, long claws, appears to have three claws on the front and more on the back feet. My question is what is this animal?

Email us the photos and we will take a look at it. I have an idea of what it could be but I will wait and see the photos. Either way, the animal is most likely a "protected" species in Texas.
