Axis deer are widely considered one of the most beautiful and challenging exotic species found in Texas. Known for their striking spotted coats, impressive antlers, and excellent table fare, axis deer thrive across the rugged landscapes of West Texas and the Hill Country. With no closed season and strong herd populations, Magnum Guide Service offers hunters year-round opportunities to pursue mature axis bucks on both large free range low fence ranches, as well as fair chase high fence ranches where spot and stalk hunting methods have proven very successful for our Magnum hunters.
