My name is Logan Duke and I am new to Magnum’s guide string. Born and raised in the Atlanta, GA area, I first came to west Texas during the ice storm of 2021 to guide a two day quail hunt and basically never left. I’ve been a weekend deer and duck hunter for 15 years but once I discovered trailing wounded big game with my dogs, getting a deer on the tailgate after the shot became my deer hunting focus. The wonderful bounty of west Texas exotics, pigs and small predators offered a whole new opportunity to learn methods of pursuit with hunting dogs.
Over the last 10 years I’ve hunted wild grouse, partridge and quail in 18 states over self trained versatile dogs, usually spending 80+ nights per year in a tent for the chase.
I’m also considered a top tier fisherman… when the tackle is limited to red and white bobbers with live crickets as bait.
